honeymoon!

Sunday after our wedding we flew to Long Beach, CA. Aunt Lisa picked us up from the airport and we boarded our Carnival cruise ship headed for Mexico! We got all checked in and spent Monday out at sea. The best part about our room was our private balcony where we liked to eat breakfast and we had a cool view of the ocean!

Tuesday & Wednesday we spent in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The first day we went on a little boat to a cove where we kayaked and snorkeled. The boat was quite a party! They had a dance contest for all of the honeymooning husbands, and Kevin won the sexiest dancer! Lucky me!

Thursday took us to Puerta Vallarta, which was beautiful and a little more tropical than Cabo. We grabbed a taxi with some other college kids from Utah on the same cruise (the whole cruise was practically from Utah. I even saw some people from BYU I knew. Crazy!) and went to a secluded little quiet beach a ways out of town. Kevin's favorite part was renting a wave runner from some local Mexicans. We rode out to a cool rock and in some tunnels, and he loved freaking me out jumping over big waves.

We hung out at the beach, had chips & salsa and piña coladas, got tan and played in the ocean. It was paradise!

We had a wonderful time on the cruise! It was so nice and warm and relaxing after the craziness of the wedding. We met a lot of nice people too, mostly from Utah. We ate dinner with a lovely couple from Orem. The husband owns an auto shop and specializes in working on Subarus! (Kevin just bought a Subaru last year).

Now we're back to real life. Married for almost two weeks and its wonderful!
